Biography

I am a Master student in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at University of Waterloo. Currently, I am working towards my Master’s thesis on Real Gas Effects on Compressible flows in Supercritical regime in Multiphysics Interation lab under the supervision of Professor Jean-Pierre Hickey.

I opened this website to keep track of my graduate research life, academic courses, and last but not the least, ideas that I want to share with others. I was born and raised in Andhra Pradesh, India. Telugu (తెలుగు) is my first language.

A tabulation based Equation of state generated adaptively based on Quadtree datastructure and user defined Error Tolerance.

Financial Portfolio Management and Statistical Analysis of S&P 500 traded securities

Computation of daily returns and descriptive statistics of 3 US car stocks(F, GM, TSLA) over a 5 year period using Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) to formulate efficient portfolios from individual assets and compute portfolio frontier. I implemented Random Walk (RW) and ARIMA time series model to simulate time history of stock price for forecasting

Improving 311 service through GeoSpatial Analysis and Time series Analysis

This is our team’s submission to Citadel Data Open competition, through our anlysis we tried to answer what suggestions can we make to improve the resolution efficiency of 311 service (a non emergency call service for the New York city) requests.

Pairs Trading with Machine Learning

One popular trading algorithm is Pairs Trading, in this strategy finding valid, eligible pairs that show unconditional mean-reversion behaviour play a main role.
